She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Kerber and Frederick Kerber; her daughter Louise Beachell (Petrone); her husbands, Ernest Petrone and John Kaplan; her sister Fredericka "Brenda" Cipriani; and her nephew Dean Cipriani.

She is survived by: her children, Dianna Petrone (Paul Valvo) and Peter Petrone; her grandchildren, Craig Valvo (Katie), Lea Valvo (Alton Haynes) and Kyle Valvo (Megan Williams); her great grandchildren, Gianna, Kara, Ryan, Natalie Valvo, Omari and Aniya Haynes; and her nephews, Bob Kerber and Mark Cipriani.
