He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Leal and Evelyn Leal (McCarthy); and his sons, William and Ted Leal. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alyssa Walts (Joseph) and Mitchell Leal; his great grandchildren, JoJo and Lindsey Walts; his brother Richard Leal (Kathy); his stepbrothers, Mark Poirier (Carol), Lance Poirier (Debbie) and Joe Afzal; his daughter-in-law Kelly Leal; and his aunt Muriel Conkey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
