We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2023, at the age of 97, Elizabeth L. Nilsen (Agawam, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leslie R. Slater of Slater's Boat Livery; her parents, Samuel Penney and Mabel Penney (Burke); her granddaughter Alisha C. Grant; and her siblings, Calvin Penney, Anita Bennett, Shirley Opal and Ruth Murray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna (Steve Burton) and Linda (Timothy Gould); her brother John Penny; her grandchildren, Dawn Tofte, Steven Burton, Laura Goodro, Debra Lopez, Jeffrey Gould and Timothy Gould; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Tofte, Elizabeth Tofte, Nathaniel Tofte, Ashley Gould, Brennan Gould, Avelina Gould, Jared Gould, Kristy Grant, Olivia Slaughter, Ethan Slaughter, Joshua Burton, Raquel Burton and Charley Lopez.
