He was predeceased by: his parents, Errico DeStasio and Elena DeStasio (Vivenzio). He is survived by: his siblings, Maria DeCaro (Joseph), Josephine Olivera and Michael DeStasio (Joanne); his nephews, Anthony, Ricardo, Christopher, Joseph, John, Michael, Mike, Nick and Daniel; his aunt Lauretta; and his uncle Alfredo (Jane). He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and close friends.
