We bid farewell to Florence Stroiney of Agawam, Massachusetts, born in Hanover, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Florence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L. Bugden and Catherine Bugden (Tompkins); her husband Anthony Stroiney; her daughters, Catherine M. Stroiney and Carol A. Schwarz; and her siblings, William Bugden, Henry Bugden, Benjamin Bugden, Mary Dewey, Bertha Pitney and Rose Quagliaroli.
She is survived by: her son Anthony "Sonny" (Cheryl) of Windsor Locks; her granddaughters, Lindsey Engelke (David) of Enfield, CT, Jessica (Ed) of Somerville, SC and Sarah (Albert) of Windsor Locks; her great grandchildren, Emma, Brayden, Amelia, Arianna, Jeffrey, Jackson, MacKenzie and Justin; her friends, Kim and Kylie of Feeding Hills; and her pet Shila. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
