He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shannon and Mary Shannon (King); and his brother Walter Shannon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Shannon (Mitrowski); his children, Frederick Shannon, Jr. of Ware, Christopher Shannon, Steven Shannon of Springfield and Marylee Foisy of West Springfield; and his siblings, David Shannon of Holyoke, Grace Sampson and Mary Frances Flynn. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
