With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria C. Arcand of Agawam, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria C. Arcand to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Bongiorni and Teresa Bongiorni (Camerota); and her siblings, Mary Gareffa, Josephine Hapcook (Tootsie), Anna Albanese, Frank Bongiorni and Vincent Bongiorni.
She is survived by: her husband William Arcand Jr. of Agawam; and her children, Bruce Gavin (Laurie Christofori), Tom (Pam Gavin), Pam Silva (Gavin), Teddy Eaton of Springfield, MA, Cindy Duda (Gavin) of Wilbraham, MA and Bill Arcand (Kate Faulkner). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the TBD Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory can be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Springfield, MA or to a charity of your choice.
