He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard J. Starr and Loretta Starr (Minihan); and his sister Katheen Starr Kord. He is survived by : his wife Christina (Tina); his sons, James (JC) and Christopher of Florida; his stepson Cameron Pinkham (Jessika); his stepgrandchild Emeri; his stepson Kyle Pinkham; his siblings, Richard of West Springfield, Peggy Leganza (Ron) of Middlefield and Mary Ellen Berselli (Jeff) of Westfield; and his friend John Winiarski.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
