Janet Davies Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 84, Janet Davies of Agawam, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Davies to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Hunter and Kate Hunter (Colquhoun); and her husband David A. Davies. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Davies (Richard Wright) of Agawam and Lisa (John Despotopulos) of Acton; her siblings, Gilbert (Ruth Hunter East), Duncan Hunter of Springfield, Alexander (Jo Hunter) of San Antonio, TX and Mary Hunter of Agawam; her grandchildren, Kate (Jay Yarymowicz), Alexis Horniak, Hayden Despotopulos and Alexander Despotopulos; and her great grandchildren, Jayce, Sadie and Abby Yarymowicz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Curran-Jones Funeral Home - Agawam (745 Cooper St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
