He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominico Cirelli and Filomena Cirelli (Ricci); his wife Carmel "Peggy" Cirelli (Fusco); and his siblings, Angelo, Vincent, Louis and Ann Mazza.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa "Teri" Scibelli (John) of Agawam and Diane Barclay (Jack) of Waterford, CT; his grandchildren, Vanessa Galluzzo (Ethan Murray), Amanda Fazio (Aldo), Damian Millas (Sara) and Jason Millas (Jenn); and his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Samantha, Talia, Gino, Brooklyn and Charlotte. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral and Cremation (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 8:45 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joe's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
