He is survived by: his mother Eva Polon of Springfield; his brothers, Alex of Springfield and Anthony of New Hampshire; his former wife Kelly Lim; his children, Kieran, Lukas, Maile and Nicholas; his mother-in-law Rose MacKinnon of Springfield; his brother-in-law Stephen MacKinnon (Jaime) of West Springfield; his siblings' children, Jack, Kendall and Rylie Ray of North Carolina; and his close friend James Kennedy of Ludlow.
Michael's family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Baystate Medical Center staff of the Emergency Department, Wesson 4, Daly 6B, and Daly 5B/SICU for the wonderful care Michael received, as well as to the Pulmonologists involved in his care that he fondly called his "Pulmonary Dream Team."In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's name to Baystate Medical Center.
