It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth M. (Lariviere) Fortune Sinowski of Agawam, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lariviere and Ida Lariviere (Laurin); and her siblings, Cecile, Amelia, Jeannette, Rita, Alphonse and Roger.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Fortune; her daughters, Denise J. Adams (David) of Richmondville, NY and Laura A. Marcoux of Agawam; her grandchildren, Corrinne E. Schoenecker (Matthew), David E. Adams, Ryan J. Adams (Roslyn) and Justin S. Marcoux; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt L., Koal M. Schoenecker, Briar R. and Reid J. Adams. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101-6307.
