Shirley J. Chechile Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Chechile of Agawam, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond "Chuck" Tobey and Henreitta Holt (Smith); her husband William A. Chechile; her stepmother Maud E. Tobey; and her siblings, Raymond Tobey, Kenneth Tobey, Margaret Record and Joyce Seagaert.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald W. Chechile (Debra) of Southwick, MA and Donna M. Fay (Bob Brothers) of Feeding Hills; and her siblings, George Tobey (Pat) of Westfield, Elsie Carron of Wilbraham, Barbara Belden of Wilbraham and Gloria Clarke of Wilbraham. She is also survived by grandsons, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
