He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Krol and Mary Krol (Hevia); and his wife Dorina Krol (Gallerani). He is survived by: his children, Tracey Krol (Linda Fasano) and Tom Krol; his grandchildren, Tyler and Madison; his sister Patricia Irons; and his brother-in-law Richard Gallerani. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
