With sadness, we share the passing of William F. Archand Jr. (Agawam, Massachusetts). William, born on March 2, 1933, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henreitta Arcand (Barber) and William Francis Arcand; his wife Gloria Arcand (Bongiorni); his son Thomas Gavin; his son-in-law Bob Duda; his grandson Rob Duda; and his sister Barbara Bouffard (Arcand).
He is survived by: his sister Mary Jane Weir (Arcand) of California; his children, Bruce Gavin (Laurie Christofori), Pam Silva (Gavin), Teddy Eaton of Springfield, MA, Cindy Duda (Gavin) of Wilbraham and Bill Arcand (Kate Faulkner); and his daughter-in-law Pam Gavin. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in William's memory can be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 11 in Chicopee, MA 01020 or to a charity of your choice.
