He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mayou and Irene Mayou (Bodah). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine (Cowles); and his children, John Kane (Irene), Daniel Kane (Helene), Robert Nichols, George Nichols (Bridget), Annette Calabrese and Amy Lynn Flechsing. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
