He is survived by: his close friend Darlene Cloutier of Agawam; his son Dequan Ellis of Brockton, MA.; his siblings, Joseph Joyner of Lexington, KY, Judge Joyner (Carol) of Springfield, Tony Ellis (Pamela) of Greenville, N. C. and Hattie Ellis of Rocky Mount, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Tavallis William (TJ), Dequan Ellis (Elias) and Jeremiah Rosario.
