He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Ann Perkins Cashman (Hanson) and Alvinza C. Hanson Jr.; and his siblings, Geneva Hanson, Patricia Hanson Isabelle Brugh, June Hanson Bennett, Kathleen Cashman Abner and George Cashman Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Janis Lea Hanson (Griffin); his children, Chris Hanson of Amesbury, MA and Alyssa Willette (Justin Willette) of Boxford, MA.; his grandchildren, Lydia, Ethan, Phoebe and JJ; and his sister Karen Cashman of Fitchburg, MA.
