He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie April; his parents, Edward April and Catherine April (Atwater); his brothers, Edward and Peter April; his niece Pamela Kennedy (Eric) of South Carolina; and his nephew Michael Hines.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri April of Nahant and Thomas April (Jessica Richardson); his grandchildren, Ashley of Amesbury, Nicole and Ryan McDermott; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy Donahue (Bill) of Lynn, Debbie Corcoran (Kevin) of Boxford, Donna Gautreau, Reggie Barron of Hawaii and Diane McCormick of Lynnfield.
