He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Knightly and Ruth A. Knightly (Morton); and his sisters, Gloria Russell and Elaine Pillar. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Grandonico; his sons, David Jr., Todd and Dean; his grandchildren, Tim, Pat, Tyler, Dylan, Peyton, Logan and Edward James; and his brothers, William and Robert.
