We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2021, at the age of 86, John Fleming of Amherst, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Fleming and Mary Fleming (O'Connor); his wife Judy; his brother-in-law Ben Sullivan; his sister Claire Laverdiere; and his brother-in-law Maurice Laverdiere.

He is survived by : his children, Jefferey, Jeff Fleming (Diane) of Lawrence, KS, Barbara Bolstridge (Rich) of Naples and Steve Fleming (Tracy); his grandchildren, Matt Fleming (Johnna) of Basehor, KS, Kayleen Hisle of Topeka, KS, Jeff Bolstridge (Nicole) of Ellicot City, MD, Jon Bolstridge (Katherine) of Brookhaven, GA, Steve Fleming of Worcester, MA and Lyndsey Fleming of Granby, MA; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Fleming, Ellie Fleming, Amelia Bolstridge, Penelope Hisle, Logan Fleming and Scarlett Hisle; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Cadieux, Barbara Sullivan and Richard Cadieux. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews – as well as loving friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Council on Aging, 45 Dayton Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.

“Unfortunately I only learned of Jack's passing today I wish I would have known sooner he was such a great man he worked with me for years at Taylor Rental and he and Judy were always the life of the party as I was growing up, he will be missed dearly, he was always such a good man my condolences go out to all the family, take care Jack you were a great man!! You will be sadly missed by my family and myself.”
