She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius V. Grandonico, Sr. and Mary Grandonico (Wanczyk); and her husband David R. Knightly, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, David Jr. (Audra), Todd (Diana) and Dean (Denise); her grandchildren, Tim, Pat, Tyler, Dylan, Peyton, Logan and Edward James; and her brothers, Julius Grandonico Jr. (Marisa), Peter Grandonico (Kathy) and Vincent Grandonico.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Sandra's memory.
