He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Slovin Marcus and Joseph Sol Marcus; his siblings, Arlene Beth Marcus and Alan Jay Marcus; his sister-in-law Ellen Balis; his niece Abby Marcus; his nephew Zachary Marcus; his great-niece Josephine Anna Marcus; his friend Steve; Liz Kulig. He was also cherished by his two aunts and numerous cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jca Cemetery (742 Main St, Amherst, MA 01002). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steve's Home (42 Fisher Ave, Newton Highlands, MA 02461).
During his life Steve struggled with Parkinson's Disease which he never let keep him from living life to its fullest. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
