As we bid Donnabeth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donnabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph M. Grassis; and her parents, George Dooley and Veronica Dooley of Lawrence. She is survived by: her children, Jay Grassis, Molly Maesano (Jeff Rutstein) and Julie Waite (James Waite); her granddaughter Maeve Maesano; her sister Barbara Campbell of No; her daughter-in-law Lee Grassis of Methuen; and her siblings-in-law, Don and Pat Grassis of Haverhill.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cataudella Funeral Home (126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (43 Essex St, Andover, MA 01810). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (29 Barker St, Lawrence, MA 01841).
