He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kavanaugh; his children, David Kavanaugh and Susie Kavanaugh; his grandsons, Vaughan and Jack Kavanaugh; and his siblings, Kenneth (Mary Kavanaugh), Douglas Kavanaugh, Elaine (Michael Lang), Marie (Frederick Bolwell), Carol Kavanaugh, Stephen (Mary Kavanaugh), Kevin Kavanaugh, John (Patricia Kavanaugh) and Claire Kavanaugh (Robert Kavanaugh).
