With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan H. (Christian) Sopp of Andover, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Lawrence Christian and Faith H. Christian (King). She is survived by: her husband Brian Sopp; and her siblings, Barbara Decker of Seattle, WA and Donald Christian of Portland, OR. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
