He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. McSweeney Sr. and Harriett B. McSweeney (Carr); and his brother Brian McSweeney. He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cathy" McSweeney (Griffin); his daughters, Christine Maddalo (Matthew) and Karen Couture (Mark); and his grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Beau and Kyle.
