With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leona E. (Porter) Doherty of Andover, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Leona's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Leona's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry J. Porter and Doris Porter (Wilson); her husband Henry; her child Atty; and her sisters, Eleanor Kelley, Eileen Montgomery and Geraldine Doane. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
