He is survived by: his wife Sally A. Smith (Jacquard); his children, Robert Smith (Cheryl Laliberty) of Lawrence, Daryl Smith (Jen Berry) of Lawrence and Jacqueline (Joe Capelo) of Tewksbury; his grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Antonio, Olivia and Sophia Capelo; and his siblings, Larry, Reggie, Albert, Rosemarie, Eileen, Richard, Kathleen, Rory, Jeanne and Eddie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
