He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Apitz and Marie Apitz (Dill); and his sister Linda Durkin. He is survived by: his son Vincent Cahalane of Lawrence; his siblings, Paul Apitz of Dracut, Dana (Tammy) of North Andover and Phyllis Winters of Andover; his grandchildren, Ajalyse, Aniahlynn and Lilianna; his friend Victoria Rose; his grandson James Apitz (Mary) of Methuen; Ezra of Newton.
