With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce C. Hamel of Arlington, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad W. Hamel and Pauline F. Hamel (Parenteau); his siblings, Billy Hamel, Bryan Hamel, David Picardi and Karen Nelson (Picardi); and his parents-in-law, Michael J Lucas and Barbara A Lucas (Joyce).
He is survived by: his wife Dianne M. Hamel (Lucas); his children, CoCo and Benji; and his nephews, Todd Nelson, Michael Nelson and Patrick Salvato, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A prayer will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
