He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Angela McGlashing; and his parents, Gerard Corbett and Mary Alice Corbett (Rogan). He was also cherished by friends and cousins.

“Dear Dennis, Its your old roommate Jim Nye from N.H. I kept saying I was going to your P.D. to see if they could put me in touch with you being as both of us got into Law enforcement after the service. I was just talking to our friend Basil Merrelli from Ohio.I still remember that flight we took coming back from San Diego before we shipped out. Lightening striking around the plane with you praying with 2 drunks in the aisle. Now you fly with the angels- a good group. CAN DO my friend.”
