Eugene J. Mericantante Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2026, at the age of 87, Eugene J. Mericantante of Arlington, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James John and Margaret Bernadette Mericantante (Houghton); his siblings, James (Skip) and Florence Mericantante (Nonnie); and his wife Janice.
He is survived by: his children, John (Ute), James (Nicole), Therese Flynn (Jeff), Marc (Bridget), Paul and Matthew (Amy). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and many loving cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home - Arlington (5 Chestnut St, Arlington, MA 02474). A prayer was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gene's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
