He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasilios Hamizides and Anastasia Hamizides (Mouridou); his wife Chrisanthe; and his son Vasilios Hamizides. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Hamizides-Rombola (Joseph) and Anastasia Hamizides; and his granddaughter Christina Romboli (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Athanasius the Great Greek Church (4 Appleton St, Arlington, MA 02476). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (70 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Athanasius Greek Church, 4 Appleton Street, Arlington, Massachusetts.
