It is with sadness that the passing of Harold W. O'Connell of Arlington, Massachusetts is shared. Harold, born on August 5, 1935, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marie E. O'Connell (Hanafin); his parents, John J. O'Connell and Anne L. O'Connell (Cain); and his siblings, John O'Connell (Barbara), Daniel O'Connell (late Margaret), Arthur O'Connell (Grace), Gerald O'Connell (late Nancy), Robert O'Connell (Marnie) and Catherine Farinella (Pasquale).
He is survived by: his children, Karen Greenwood (Tom) of Sudbury, Amy DeMatteo (Jim) of Tewksbury, Jim O'Connell (Nicole) of Lawrence and Bob O'Connell (Jenn) of Sandwich; his grandchildren, Robert, Andrew, Laura and Siena; his siblings, Roberta Ricci (Paul), James O'Connell (Margaret), Dennis O'Connell (Rose) and Stephen O'Connell (Mary); and his close friends, Karen, Bob, Jim and Amy. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Chestnut St, Arlington, MA 02474). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Eulalia Church (50 Ridge St, Winchester, MA 01890).
