He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Gamez (Zafferano); his children, John J. Gamez of Arlington, Robert Gamez (Christine) of Burlington and Susanna Thomas (Frederick) of Pepperell; his grandchildren, Samantha Rose, Nicole Gamez, Matthew Thomas, Briana Thomas and John E. Gamez; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Elijah, Coda, Freya and Caleb; and his parents, John Gamez and Ana Gamez (Cuevas Sanchez).
