We bid farewell to Joseph A. Mitchell (Arlington, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2025 at the age of 88. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Mitchell and Margaret Mitchell; his sister Carol; and his stepbrothers, Paul Purcell and Joey Purcell.

He is survived by: his stepparents, Joseph Purcell and Louise Purcell; his siblings, Allan, Jacqueline and Maryanne; his stepbrother John Purcell; his wife Lorraine; his children, Darlene Ligor, Michele Preston, Karen White (Mark), Joseph Mitchell Jr. (Noreen), John Mitchell (Leesa) and Michael Mitchell (Diana); his grandchildren, Jason Ligor (Courtney), Daniel, Preston (Katie Dewey-Rosenfeld) and Danielle DiGirolamo (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Isabella, Lyla, Logan, Ryan, Madison and Olivia.
