He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Cummings (Harrity) and Howard J. Cummings; his wife Margaret Cummings (Heavey); and his siblings, Howard Cummings, Arthur Cummings and Mary Hunter (Cummings).
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Kenneth Heavey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
