He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zarba and Elvira Zarba; and his brothers, Christopher and Frank Zarba. He is survived by: his wife Tessie; his son Joseph L. Zarba (Ana); his grandchildren, Joseph D. Zarba, Evan Zarba and Vanessa Zarba; his daughter Teresa Zarba Sugrue (Frank); his grandchildren, Aly Chessman (Dan) and Jackson Sugrue; his great grandchildren, Arabella, Addalyn and Liam; his niece Lori Bauld; his sister Rina Zarba; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Zarba.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeVito Funeral Home (1145 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA 02476). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Agnes Church (32 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474).
