Mary E. Markwarth Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary E. Markwarth of Arlington, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McNamara and Mary McNamara (Farrell); her husband Hans R. Markwarth; her brothers, Reverend Joseph McNamara and Edward McNamara; and her sister-in-law Ann White.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Sheree Markwarth), Susan Markwarth, Richard (Kelly Markwarth), Marianne Markwarth, Patrick (Debra Markwarth) and Brian Markwarth; her grandchildren, Ashley Gustus (Michael), Michael Jr., Amanda, Melissa, Elizabeth, Richard, Brianna, Joseph, Jenna and Matthew Markwarth; her great grandchild Myles Gustus; and her siblings-in-law, Gertrude McNamara-Caruso and Ronald (Jennie Markwarth).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, 486 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876, where the Immaculate Heart Of Mary Residence provides living conditions and medical necessities to retired Oblate priests and brothers.
