He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McDonald and Margaret (Flynn); and his pet Taz. He is survived by: his wife Frances M. McDonald (McLaughlin); his children, Kimberly Thibault (Michael) and Matthew McDonald (Sarah); his grandchildren, Elliana and Liam; and his sisters, Marie McGrath (Tom) of Idaho and Jeanne Coutu (Ron) of Wilmington. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions are to be made in Paul's memory to Fidelity House, 25 Medford Street, Arlington, MA 02474.

“We will all miss Paul. He was a true professional never going out of his way to offend anyone whether client or adversary yet scrupulously protecting his client. I have had many encounters with Paul over the years both lawyer to lawyer, and with him when he began working in the Clerk’s Office at Woburn District Court. The traits that Paul had while practicing law were easily transferred by him to his role as a Clerk at the Court. We have lost a good one. ----Bob Annese”
