With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita I. Trainor of Arlington, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rita left this world on April 23, 2024 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband John A. Trainor; her son John J. Trainor, Sr. (late Joanne); and her grandson Michael. She is survived by : her children, Patricia Curry (Robert) of Waltham, William Trainor (Karen) of Cambridge and Edward Trainor (late Margaret) of Tewksbury; and her grandchildren, Sharon, Bobby, Diane, John, Kelly, Stephanie, Billy, Thomas, Meaghan and Patrick. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Camillus' Church (1185 Concord Turnpike, Arlington, MA 02476). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions are to be made to the DAV - Disabled American Veterans, State House, Room 546, Boston, MA 02133, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
