He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Salmon (Dornblazer) and Stuart Salmon; his daughter Elizabeth Story; his son-in-law Gregg Herrmann; and his siblings, John Salmon and Gwynne McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Christina Olton Salmon; and his children, Charles Salmon (Mimi), Catherine Kriske (Patrick), Margaret Long (Dean), Thomas Salmon, Carolyn Herrmann and Holly Tegelaar (James). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen's memory may be made to UCSF Cancer Center, in memory of his daughter Elizabeth, or to the American Cancer Society.
