It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa M. Bishop of Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald F. Bishop; her grandson Gerald Bishop Jr.; her siblings, Pauline Sousa, Alfred, Joseph, David and Robert Martignetti; and her parents, Alfred Martignetti and Josephine Martignetti (Duggan).
She is survived by: her children, Gerald J. Bishop (Cindy) of Wilmington, Laura M. Bishop of Arlington, Timothy F. Bishop (Michele) of Windham, NH and Christopher F. Bishop (Brooke) of Londonderry, NH.; and her grandchildren, Theresa, Samantha, Jake, Nicholas, Max and Natalie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeVito Funeral Home (1145 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA 02476). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Eulalia Church (50 Ridge St, Winchester, MA 01890).
