He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Blanchard and Virginia Blanchard (O'Connor); and his brother Frank A. "Butch" Blanchard III (Lois Hackett Adams) of Townsend. He is survived by: his sisters, Lyssa Boudreau and Rosemary Blanchard of Westminster; his sister-in-law Joan Blanchard of Townsend; and his siblings' children, Peter Blanchard, Patrick Blanchard, Rebecca Borneman, Jessica Blanchard, Matthew Borneman, Jason Borneman and Elisabeth Borneman.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Townsend VFW (491 Main St, Townsend, MA 01474).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the US Marine Corps toys for tots.
