He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hayes and Barbara Hayes (Ross). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hayes (O'Malley); his children, Jeffrey Hayes (Stephanie) of Thornton, NH, Laurie Moore (Joel) of Plymouth, MA, Scott Hayes (Martine (Tina) Schalke) of Acton, MA and Brian Hayes of Lincoln, VT; his grandchildren, Colin, Halle, Emily, Hannah, Samantha, Shamus and Jasper; and his brothers, Eugene "Mike" of Clovis, NM, Robert (Lynn) of Hubbardston, MA and Thomas (Connie) of Lancaster, MA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home (176 Water St, Clinton, MA 01510). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the South Cemetery - Bolton (59 S Bolton Rd, Bolton, MA 01740).
