He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Demmler and Elsie Demmler (Schreiber); and his wife Lena J. Demmler (Lison). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Robert Erickson of Holden, Vickie Cassidy of Aurora and Wendy Kelley of Spring Hill, Florida; and his grandsons, David Erickson, Bobby Erickson, Jason Cassidy and Matthew Cassidy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Roger and his beloved wife, Lena.
