We announce the death of Marilyn Davis-Bobetsky of Ashfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 91. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marilyn will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Marilyn will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Marilyn’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harwood F. Thayer and Marion Thayer of Ashfield, MA.; and her brothers, Harwood F. Thayer Jr. and George Thayer. She is survived by: her husband Gerard M. Davis; and her children, Jeffery Davis (Ellen) of College Park, MD, Heather Clark of Beverly, MA, Cameron Davis (MaryAnn) of Cheshire, MA and Holly Davis-Cain (Fred) of Gloucester, MA.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, as well as, three nephews, their spouses and children.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Hill Town Food Pantry.
