For Joao is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Lage and Maria Celina Lage (Monteiro). He is survived by: his wife Christine Lage (LaPointe); his daughters, Korrie Tucker and Corinne Lage; his granddaughter Mina Tucker; and his siblings, Manny Lage, Lucia Lage, Maria Lage and Lucinda Moore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
