He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H Sr. Race and Lena Race (Fuore). He is survived by: his wife Nanci Race (Phillips) of Ashley Falls; his children, Chris D. Race (Jennifer Vanoord) of Lakeville, CT, Jennifer Ariel of Sheffield and Andrea McGill of Indian Orchard, MA; and his brothers, James Race of Melbourne, FL and Francis Race of Copake, NY. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home (33 South St, Great Barrington, MA 01230). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
